Mr. Rolfe was my favorite teacher because he knew how to relate to the students and we could talk to him about anything.


What are three things every teacher should own?


Every teacher should own stickers for praise, a blue pen because red is too harsh, and a good ball for recess.


If you could have any person (living, dead or fictional) as a principal, who would it be?


Mrs. Frizzle! We would have the best field trips!


What profession other than your own would you most like to attempt?


I'd like to be a chef. Food is a way to connect to people and make them happy.


Describe your all-time favorite lesson/unit activity.


Our Jamestown field trip was awesome!


What is the greatest misconception about teachers?


The greatest misconception about teachers is the we have no life outside of school and we are boring.


What stereotype about teachers is true?


We are control freaks!


How did you know you wanted to be a teacher?


I've always loved working with children and watching them grow. Teaching was a natural choice for me and I cannot imagine doing anything else.
