3-5: Halloween Headlines

Let's practice alliteration with a Halloween twist.  Create 3 different headlines for a Halloween newspaper. The words for each headline should start with the same letter.

Each headline should include an adjective, a traditional Halloween monster and a verb describing their headline-grabbing activity. Be creative!

6-8: Holiday Evolutions & Origins

Halloween traditions have changed significantly from their origins. Most of the reasons people started these traditions are not known or recognized by modern people celebrating the holiday.

9-12: The Business of Halloween

Halloween has evolved from rural superstitions to big business. Imagine that you are starting a Halloween-themed business. How would you capitalize on the holiday's earning potential?

Write a two to three paragraph pitch to persuade potential investors. You should describe your Halloween business, identify the customers you'd target and explain how your product, service or idea will make money.
