K-2: From Naughty to Nice

The Christmas crew can identify how naughty or nice kids are. It's not too late to make sure you're nice count is higher than your naughty count.

Write down 3 naughty, or not-so-nice, things you've done this year. For each naughty thing you did, write a way you can make it up to the person your naughty behavior affected.

3-5: Reindeer Games

Arthur and Grandsanta are having trouble remembering the names for all the reindeer. Why don't we help them come up with new reindeer names?

Brainstorm a list of reindeer names that you think capture the holiday spirit. With each name, write a one-sentence explanation about why you think that name is fitting for one of Santa's reindeer.

6-8: No Child Left Behind

Arthur is concerned about how one child will feel for not being included by Santa. Have you ever felt like the only person who wasn't included in something? What did that feel like?

Why is it important to make sure that no one feels left out?

9-12: Low Tech Holiday Cheer

Arthur Christmas shows us the value of going low tech this holiday season. Instead of texting or emailing, write a letter to a friend or family member.

In the letter, express how you feel about them and why they are important to you. A heartfelt letter can be better than any store-bought gift!

Remember to use proper grammar, spelling and punctuation.
