Roughly 152,000 students may be affected by a possible strike by bus drivers in New York City. Bus drivers and bus attendants are protesting the city inviting new bids for contracts, which will lack employee protection provisions. Drivers argued that their employees were best for the city’s children, because of their stringent screening processes, including CPR training.
