NASA shuttles are finding new homes around the country. If you had your VERY OWN shuttle, what would you do with it? What games would you play? Either describe your game in a sentence OR draw a picture of you and your shuttle game.

3-5: Space Adventures

Imagine that you're planning a space mission. Where would you go in your shuttle?

 

Write a story describing your space adventure. Include the words: asteroid, star, planet, orbit, and galaxy.

6-8: Shuttle Flight Commentary

Pretend you are a radio commentator who is explaining this event to your audience. Describe the event, crowd and everything you see in the video. Feel free to add commentary about why this event is special or what it means for America.

9-12: Private Space Travel Marketing

A new private company offering space flights needs help marketing their service. Create materials that explain the service provided and "sells" its positive qualities to potential customers.

 

Include:

  • a company name,
  • a one-sentence tagline, and
  • a brochure or description of a commercial.
