3-5: Cleaning Music

The Muppets like to clean while listening to music to make it more fun. To help them, let's write a cleaning song! Here are some instructions to get you started.

First write a line down the top half of your sheet of paper.

In one column, write down at least five words you know that relate to cleaning. For example, "broom."

In the second column, write words that rhymes with your cleaning words. For example, "zoom."

To write song lyrics, end each line of your song with your rhyming words.

For example:

Since I'm so speedy with my broom,

Everyone around calls me zoom.

Once you have the lyrics, try singing it! Go with a natural rhythm or try singing it to the tune of an existing song.
