Many factors come into play when our citizens head for the polls:
Foreign Policy, Gun Control, Budget & Economy, Education, Homeland Security, Health Care, Civil Rights and Technology, just to name a few. People on both sides of each issue have strong opinions on how much of a role our government should play in deciding on various policies... and which candidate supports the policies that are most important to them as an individual, a business owner, a parent, etc...
That being said, what if the presidential election wasn't quite so cerebral? What if the candidate with the most Facebook friends won? Pinterest followers? Tweets? Let's be honest, we really aren't that far off from a good old fashioned popularity contest when it comes to making it to the oval office!
So... if that truly were the case... how would YOUR candidate stack up if the election was won by social votes rather than electoral?
