6-8: Pessimism vs. Optimism

In the story, Dory is an eternal optimist, while Marlin is full of doom and gloom.
Think of something that happened to you recently that seemed like a bad thing at first, but ended up turning out ok.

9-12: Nature vs. Nurture

Marlin is always overly cautious and waiting for the other proverbial shoe to fall. Dory takes each moment as it comes.
How much would you say is part of their personalities and how much may have been shaped by events in their lives? Has anything in your life made you more cautious or more relaxed about what might lie ahead?
