Alert: this is the last New Years you can wear a year-specific pair of glasses. Do not let this moment pass you by because it won't come around for another millenia!
This is usually the time of year that you do a "Best of" list for the previous year, but I'm all about looking forward to 2009.
First and most importantly, TeachHUB.com will be launching in a few weeks!! We're still waiting on the developers for the final date, but we're ready and raring to go. The site will have K-12 news, daily teacher columnists, teacher picks for books and websites, some good deals, daily pop culture printables, tips from teachers, prof. development recommendations, some social networking components, discussions and giveaways. Basically, it'll make this little blog look like amateur hour :P
I've also got some plans to shake things up with my community college class. That gameplan is still on the horizon, but any suggestions on how to connect with students in an online setting are more than welcome.
And finally, to just enjoy life in 2009.
