Kelly's School Fashion Tips
As far as fashion tips, I am a big believer in being stylish AND comfortable when in the classroom. A couple of things I think are really important are number one- shoes!! Now I love stilettos a great deal, but
walking around a classroom where kids leave books and bags (not to mention feet sticking out) on the floor can be disastrous! I think every teacher should invest in a couple of good pairs of flats. Whether they are Nine West or Tory Burch (my personal favorite) having a good pair of flats will guarantee comfort while being on your feet ALL day long. A good pair is worth the investment.
My favorites right now are a bit of an investment, but worth every penny. I'm actually wearing them in both pictures I submitted to TeachHUB.
My second necessity would be a few nice cardigan sweaters.
A) they go with anything
B) classroom temperatures fluctuate a ridiculous amount.
Just today it must have been 40 degrees in my classroom, but last Friday it felt like a sauna. I have a few basic cardigans (my favorite this year are the J.Crew Forever Cardigan- plus teachers with an ID get 15% off!!!) in a few different colors. That way if your cold, put on a comfy, yet very fashionable cardigan and when your cold, just put it on the back of your chair.
